Data Deletion Instructions
This page explains how a Clinic or Patient can request deletion of personal data collected through RetainIQ, including data associated with WhatsApp messaging.
Who can request deletion
- Patients can request deletion of their own check-in and recall records.
- Clinics can request deletion of their account and associated data, or of specific patient records they manage.
How to request deletion
Send a deletion request to dev1@gtstudiolabs.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request," including:
- Your name and, if applicable, the clinic you're associated with;
- The WhatsApp number or account the data is linked to;
- Whether you're requesting deletion of a specific record or an entire account.

What happens next
We confirm receipt of a deletion request within 2 business days, and complete the deletion of identifiable personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain limited records for legal, regulatory, or legitimate operational purposes (for example, financial records tied to a paid account). Where retention is required, we will let you know what is retained and why.
WhatsApp-specific data
Deleting your RetainIQ record removes the data RetainIQ itself stores. Message data that has already passed through the WhatsApp Business Platform is also subject to Meta's own data handling and retention practices, independent of RetainIQ's deletion process.
